In the 1980s, Sugar Ray Leonard’s “Four Kings,” Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, and Thomas Hearns tied back boxing and led one of the most exciting eras in the history of the sport. These four mythical talents would be combined nine times in the championship fights of that time, while giving life to the sport he was fighting for at the time.
On June 6, “The Kings,” a four-part documentary series featuring four stars, will premiere on Showtime. On the same night, the Showtime pay-per-view program will feature an exhibition clash between boxing star Floyd Mayweather and social media agent Logan Paul. The remaining three episodes will be released weekly and will be available on all Showtime playback platforms and on demand.

Mayweather could cash in on those two fights without taking much of a risk.

Floyd Mayweather and Logan Paul announced an exhibition bout in late 2020, and though the event fell apart rather quietly in early 2021, the chance that it could be rescheduled was always there. A Mayweather post on Instagram indicates that the idea is back in full swing and after.
