One sent to hospital after three-car wreck in Salina

A Salina woman was taken to the hospital with minor injuries after she was involved in an accident at Fourth and Crawford Streets Wednesday.
Salina police said the accident occurred at 8 a.m. Wednesday morning when a 2001 Dodge Duragno, driven by Dalton Murphy, 21, of Great Bend, was northbound on Fourth Street and stopped at Crawford.
Murphy continued into the intersection and was hit by a 2017 Nissan Altima, driven by Cecilia Cabral, 32, of Salina, who was eastbound on Crawford. Both vehicles spun into the westbound lanes and were struck by a westbound 2019 Ford Fusion, driven by a 40-year-old Baldwin City man.
Saline County begins online registration for COVID-19 vaccination

Online registration has come to Saline County for members of the public eligible in Phase 2 of the COVID-19 vaccination guidelines.
Salina Family Healthcare Center, Saline County Health Department and Salina Regional Health Center announced the online registration, which is available by clicking the Register for Vaccine” tab at the top of the the county s vaccine website, www.vaccinatesalinecountyks.com.
Last week, scheduling for vaccination was closed after all 900 of the appointments were claimed in under 30 minutes.
“We are so pleased that 900 people, most of whom are senior citizens, were able to receive their vaccine this week,” said Jason Tiller, Saline County health officer. “Now that we have more clarity from the state about how much vaccine we will have and how often it will be delivered, we’ve been able to create a more long-term sustainable solution to vaccine scheduli
