Canyon Country Shooting Suspect Arrested In Antelope Valley
A Canyon Country shooting suspect, wanted in connection to an alleged domestic violence incident in November, has been arrested in the Antelope Valley this week.
Kevin Greaney, 30, was arrested on Wednesday by deputies with the Palmdale Sheriff’s Station, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD) inmate records.
Greaney is being charged with one count each of possession of a firearm by a felon, unlawful possession of ammunition, possession of a controlled substance with a firearm and possession for sale of a controlled substance, according to Greg Risling, spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office.
Upon further investigation, deputies on scene learned that the pair may be connected to an attempted assault on a deputy earlier in the week, when an individual reportedly tried to hit a deputy with a vehicle as they fled on Wednesday. However, Jepson was unable to confirm whether or not this was the case, as deputies were still on scene investigating.
Deputies searched the silver Honda the pair were in, and the vehicle was later towed.
No injuries were reported in connection with this incident.

Additionally, deputies reportedly found several narcotics inside the vehicle during their search.
Deputies proceeded to arrest the pair on multiple charges, including possession of a loaded and unregistered handgun, possession of a controlled substance while armed with a firearm, and forgery of a California seal.
Both were taken to the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station jail for booking. The man, 27-year-old Kevin Redd, was given a bail of $50,000, while the woman, 20-year-old Selena Williams, was given a bail of $60,000, according to arrest logs.
