The Election Tribunal has issued notices to Water Resources Minister Faisal Vawda and the Election Commission of Pakistan in a case challenging the PTI MNA s nomination for Senate elections.
In a hearing on Monday, the tribunal summoned responses from the parties by Tuesday, February 23.
On February 20, Advocate Qadir Khan Mandokhail challenged the returning officerâs decision to approve Vawdaâs nomination papers. He told the court that the leader hid the truth about his US citizenship and he doesnât deserve to hold any public post. Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh on Monday alleged that a video shared by the PTI s Karachi chapter on Twitter showed the way the Sindh government through 50-60 criminals, prisoners, goons got me attacked .
