ISLAMABAD, Pakistan: The Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood Co-chaired the 5th Round of Bilateral Political Consultations (BPC) between Pakistan and Tajikistan with the First Deputy Foreign Minister Khusrav Noziri on Tuesday in virtual mode.
The two sides reviewed the entire spectrum of bilateral relations in political, security, economic and trade, science and technology, education, culture and connectivity as well as cooperation at international and regional fora.
Recognizing the significance of Tajikistan as a gateway to Central Asia, the Foreign Secretary Sohail Mahmood expressed satisfaction at the growing pace of mutual cooperation over the past three decades.

ISLAMABAD, May 25 (Gwadar Pro)―Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on Monday afternoon “deeply appreciated” Chinese President Xi Jinping and Prime Minister Li Keqiang for their able leadership.
In a meeting with Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, H.E.Nong Rong, the Prime Minister conveyed his warm greetings to Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang, said an official statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.
The PM reaffirmed the highest priority accorded by the government to China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) and the firm commitment to expeditiously complete CPEC projects.
“They (PM Imran Khan and Ambassador Nong Rong) discussed bilateral relations, including CPEC, 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties, vaccine cooperation, and high-level bilateral exchanges,” said the statement.
