Speaking on Monday, April 19, at a virtual panel hosted by the Victims of Communism Memorial Foundation and Campaign for Uighurs, Idris said China is using its economic power to create a diplomatic advantage. According to Idris, China is exporting its repressive regime mainly to the Islamic governments of Central Asia and the Middle East.
He noted that most Islamic countries remain silent over genocide in China despite having historically strong bonds with Uighur Muslims and that those countries are following the orders of the Chinese regime and backing China’s position on affairs related to Xinjiang and Hong Kong in the U.N. Human Rights Council.

ISLAMABAD (Dunya News) - Chairman of China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Authority Lt. General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa has said that it is time to reap the benefits of CPEC, many projects will be completed this year.
Chairman CPEC Authority said this in an exclusive interview with Dunya News program ‘Dunya Kamran Khan Kay Sath’. He said that everything is moving in a positive direction.
He said that creation of Rashakai Special Economic Zone (REZ) would bring more international investment while a meeting was held with Sindh Chief Minister regarding Dhabeji today.

The western alignment routes of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will be completed in around three years while the country is entering the second phase of CPEC that primarily focuses on agriculture and mass industrialisation, said CPEC Authority Chairman Asim Saleem Bajwa.
Speaking to businessmen at the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI), he said that work on the western alignment was underway on the route from Islamabad to Dera Ismail Khan and from Dera Ismail Khan to Zhob.

CPEC Authority Chairman Lt General (retd) Asim Saleem Bajwa Tuesday said no power on earth could sabotage China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) as it was the country’s national project.
Addressing a ceremony at Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) here, he said CPEC, being a flagship project of the Chinese Belt and Road Initiative, had improved the road connectivity between the two countries and would do so further. On eastern alignment of CPEC, Bajwa said only one section Sukkur-Hyderabad was left that had already been launched by the Prime Minister Imran Khan recently.
