JACKSON, Tenn. The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed another 44 cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The health department says there are now a total of 10,463 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
Those new cases range in age from 10-years-old to 76-years-old.
There are currently 14 Madison County residents hospitalized, with one of those patients on a ventilator.
The health department also released statistics on patients, including zip code, race, gender, age and their health statuses.

COVID-19 vaccine appointments now offered for Madison County residents 70 and older

JACKSON, Tenn. –The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department is now scheduling COVID-19 vaccination appointments for Madison County residents ages 70 and older. The health department is also scheduling make-up appointments for individuals included in Phase 1a1, Phase 1a2, and Phase 1b.
Madison County residents in these phases can schedule an appointment to receive their vaccine online at their website at www.madisoncountytn.gov. Those who do not have access to internet can call the COVID-19 Vaccination Appointment Line at (888)-796-8894.
Any residents that have questions about their appointments or trouble scheduling one, are asked to please call the appointment line.
52 new cases of COVID-19 confirmed in Madison Co.; 10,419 total

JACKSON, Tenn. The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department has confirmed another 52 cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
The health department says there are now a total of 10,419 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Madison County.
Those new cases range in age from 6-years-old to 74-years-old.
There are currently 11 Madison County residents hospitalized, with one of those patients on a ventilator.
The health department also released statistics on patients, including zip code, race, gender, age and their health statuses.

The health department says those patients are:
a 71-year-old woman, who died Jan. 7.
a 79-year-old man, who died Jan. 27.
A total of 165 Madison County residents have died due to COVID-19 complications.
The health department also confirmed another 32 COVID-19 cases on Thursday, bringing the total number of confirmed positive cases to 10,367.
Those new patients range in age from 3-months-old to 81-years-old.
There are currently 12 Madison County residents hospitalized, with one of those patients on a ventilator.

JACKSON, Tenn. The Jackson-Madison County Regional Health Department will be distributing second doses of the COVID-19 vaccine for residents 75 and older on Thursday, Jan. 28 from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The health department says those vaccines will be distributed again at the Jackson Fairgrounds for those who participated in the drive through clinic on Jan. 7.
The health department is asking for those attending this clinic to be at the health department based on the first letter of their last name at the following times:
A through C from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.
D through H from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
