A 21-year-old pleaded guilty to amended sexual assault charges during his appearance 1st District Court on Monday.
Payden Hunter Hendershot, 21, pleaded to two counts of second-degree forcible sodomy â amended from first-degree felonies â and one class-B furnishing alcoholic product to a minor. As a part of a plea agreement, two first-degree counts of object rape and a third-degree count of distribution of a controlled substance were dismissed.
Hendershot is set to appear for sentencing on June 21.

Cache County prosecutor Griffin Hazard told the court Hendershot engaged in sexual acts with teenage minors without consent and also provided alcohol.

A man accused of strangling a woman unconscious at a local hotel made his initial appearance on charges in 1st District Court on Friday.
Kyle R. Lowden, 34, has been charged with second-degree aggravated assault, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and an additional misdemeanor for incidents alleged to have happened on Wednesday.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Lowden âput his hands on (the alleged victimâs) neck on multiple occasionsâ applying varying degrees of pressure during an argument at the hotel. At one point, police wrote Lowden strangled the woman and restricted her breathing.
âShe could only mouth words to Kyle, but was able to get him to let go,â police wrote.

An Idaho sex offender who pleaded guilty to exchanging sexually explicit messages with a minor in Cache County was sentenced to prison on Monday.
Bradley Drew Sorenson, 56, appeared in 1st District Court from the Cache County Jail after pleading guilty to three counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor, one count of second-degree enticing a minor by internet or text and third-degree dealing in materials harmful to a minor.
During his appearance, Sorenson was ordered to serve concurrent sentences of 1-15 years in the Utah State Prison.
Prior to sentencing, defense attorney Joseph Saxton told the court Sorensonâs relationship with the victim âstarted innocently enoughâ as a nonsexual friendship, but eventually became inappropriate. Sorenson also made statements to the court about his initial intentions to help the victim.
A man being held in jail awaiting trial on three sexual assault cases now faces a new felony case after an altercation with an inmate.
Wyatt Dean Martin, 24, made his initial appearance on Friday for a single count of second-degree mayhem alleged to have happened on Tuesday.
An affidavit filed with the court states Martin approached the alleged victim lying on a bunk and struck the inmate in the head.
âThere was an exchange of words,â Cache County Sheriffâs deputies wrote, âthen Wyatt punched the victim in the side of the head, the punch caused the ear lobe to be split.â
