New Delhi [India], May 24 (ANI): The South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has set up a COVID care centre for children at a Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) school to treat COVID-positive children with mild or moderate cases.
The centre, set up in South Delhi s Malviya Nagar, is managed by the Akash hospital and has a school-like atmosphere, complete with recreational activities.
According to Nagesh Yagnik, Medical Superintendent of the hospital, the centre has a professional medical team, along with a 24/7 backup team on standby. Tele-communication services, imaging and X-Ray facilities are also there if required.

In Bamnoli village, about five km from Dwarka Sector 23 police station, just one government health centre caters to nearly 10,000 residents. It is the go-to place for all COVID-related problems.
Inside the dispensary, roughly the size of a two-bedroom house, a room on the left is for COVID testing, and on the right is the observation area for the vaccinated. It is also where those getting tested wait. A few civil defence volunteers are trying unsuccessfully to separate the two sets of people.
The new app has been made for all three city corporations, the SDMC said in a statement. In order to facilitate property taxpayers, South Delhi Municipal Corporation today launched a new mobile application. This application has been launched for property taxpayers of all three municipal corporations, it said. The motive behind launching of the application is to provide an easy, hassle-free platform for payers of property tax during the pandemic, the civic body said. Now, citizens can make payment while staying at home. The SDMC, the nodal agency for all three corporations (South, North & East) for this work, has developed the application with the help of National Informatics Centre (NIC), it added.

South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) has launched a new mobile application for easy, hassle-free payment of property taxes online amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The application has been developed with the help of the National Informatics Centre (NIC).
This mobile app will be functional across all three city municipal corporations-North Delhi Municipal Corporation (NDMC), South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) and East Delhi Municipal Corporation (EDMC).
