San Miguel Corporation (SMC) today (April 22) formally opened the Nagtahan northbound and southbound exit ramps of the new Skyway Stage 3 elevated expressway enabling motorists north and south to access Sta. Mesa and the City of Manila directly, in record time, announced President Ramon S. Ang.

“The concessionaire is taking advantage of the dry season to fast-track the completion of ramps so more motorists can reap the benefits of additional interchanges in between Buendia and NLEX,” according to Department of Publ8c Works and Highways (DPWH) Secretary Mark Villar.

“Kung papunta po kayong Manila, pwede na pong dumaan dito (If you are going to Manila, you can now use this), Villar said, referring to the Nagtahan off-ramp of Skyway Stage 3.
“Galing po akong Muntinlupa area, mabilis lang ang biyahe. Umakyat ako sa bagong northbound on ramp and all the way here inabot ng less than 30 minutes (I came from Muntinlupa area, travel was quick. It only took me 30 minutes to get here through the new northbound on ramp all the way here),” he said.
Satisfied with his test drive, the DPWH chief said motorists can now use the off-ramp if they want to get to Manila faster.
After opening Skyway Extension’s four-kilometer northbound section to the public last Sunday, San Miguel Corporation (SMC) Wednesday, (April 14) announced it is fast-tracking the southbound section so it will be completed by third quarter this year.

AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corporation (ALLHC) Group, a unit of property giant Ayala Land Inc., has acquired Technofreeze, a cold storage facility in Laguna.
In a statement, ALLHC said Technofreeze has a proven track record of serving companies with diverse products such as processed meat products, dairy and ice cream, and adhesives.
Technofreeze, Inc. cold storage facility acquired by AyalaLand Logistics Holdings Corp. as “ALogis Artico”
The Group will assume ownership of the existing operating facility, and this will be under ALLHC’s cold storage brand, “ALogis Artico.”
The facility includes seventeen cold storage rooms up to -25 °C with 4,000 pallet positions, three processing rooms with an adjustable temperature of 0 to 25 °C, four dry storage rooms with 1,600 pallet positions, two blast freezers with a combined capacity of 25 tonnes, and several office spaces.
