ATHENS Greece confirmed 2,812 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, with 2 of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Tuesday.
Since the pandemic began, Greece has confirmed 381,266 infections (daily change: 0.7 pct). In the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 34 infections are related to travel from abroad and 2,210 to other confirmed cases.
There are also 63 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of pandemic victims to 11,534. Of these, 95.2 pct had an underlying condition and/or aged 70 or over.

Of these 4.3 million vaccinations, 1,550,000 people have been fully immunised.
She stressed the need for people to continue respecting restrictions in order to avoid outbreaks.
“At the same time, it is necessary to use the self-diagnostic tests and – above all – to get vaccinated,” she said.

Greece has confirmed 373,881 infections from the start of the pandemic (daily change: +0.6 pct). In the confirmed cases of the last 7 days, 50 infections are related to travel from abroad and 2,629 to other confirmed cases.
There are also 56 deaths recorded in the last 24 hours, bringing the total of pandemic victims to 11,322. Of these, 95.2 pct had an underlying condition and/or were 70 years old.
A total of 677 patients are on ventilators in hospitals. Their median age is 67 years and 83 pct have an underlying condition and/or are aged 70 or more. Another 2,255 have been discharged from ICUs since the pandemic began.

Greek health authorities confirmed a total of 2,188 new coronavirus infections in the last 24 hours, with just five of these identified at entry points to the country, the National Public Health Organization (EODY) said on Friday. This represents an increase of 21 cases over yesterday’s total of 2,167.
This is a fairly major decrease from the 2,489 people who had been diagnosed on Wednesday. Since the pandemic began, Greece has confirmed a total of 373,881 infections, signifying a daily change of 0.6%. A total of 51.2% of those who have suffered with the virus are male.
