The National Hospital for Tropical Diseases run by the Ministry of Health has two branches, one in Hanoi downtown and the other in Hanoi’s Dong Anh outlying district.
The Ministry of Health has moved to lock down the Dong Anh hospital (Hospital No2) on May 5 for contact tracing and testing after a doctor was diagnosed with the SARS-CoV-2 virus on May 4.
Dozens of cases have been detected and more are expected in the coming days.
The Ministry of Health asked those who visited the hospital for regular examination or treatment between April 14 and May 4 to contact nearby medical facilities for consultations and help.

VOV.VN - The Vietnamese Ministry of Health confirmed 60 coronavirus cases on May 6, including 56 locally transmitted cases, mostly in northern localities.
Taking nasal swabs for COVID-19 testing
Of the 56 local infections, 16 cases were recorded at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi, the country’s biggest coronavirus hotspot at the moment.
Bac Ninh, a gateway to Hanoi capital, reported 12 cases, emerging as a new coronavirus hotspot in Vietnam.
Vinh Phuc, which is a coronavirus hotspot linked to the Sunny bar outbreak, announced 11 cases. It was followed by Thai Binh 5, Hanoi 4, Da Nang 3, Hung Yen 2, and Hai Duong, Lang Son, and Quang Ngai one each.

COVID-19 cases, including eight imported and 18 domestically-transmitted
infections in the past 12 hours to 6pm on May 5, the Ministry of Health (MoH) said.
The domestically-transmitted infections
include one case in central Quang Nam province, one in the capital city of Hanoi,
one in southern Dong Nai province, one in northern Hai Duong province and 14 others
at the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi’s Dong Anh district.
