COVID-19: 60 cases documented on May 6
Vietnam recorded 60 cases of COVID-19 during the 12 hours to 6pm May 6, including 56 locally-infected cases and four imported, according to the Health Ministry.
Among the 56 local cases, 16 were at the second facility of the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi, 12 in the northern province of Bac Ninh, 11 in the northern province of Vinh Phuc, four in Hanoi, 3 in the central city of Da Nang.
The national tally has reached 3,090, with 1,690 local cases. In the latest wave of outbreaks from April 27, 120 cases have been detected.

Hanoi (VNA) - Hanoi recorded five locally transmitted COVID-19 cases and 42 others with links to an outbreak at the
National Hospital for Tropical Diseases No. 2 in Dong Anh district on May 4-6, Deputy Director of the Hanoi Department of Health Hoang Duc Hanh has said.
He revealed the information during a meeting of the city’s steering board for COVID-19 prevention and control on May 6.
He also warned that Hanoi now faces a significant risk of COVID-19 transmission, as patients have complex travel histories and met with many people.

Vietnam recorded a whopping daily increase of 64 domestic coronavirus infections on Thursday, one-third at a hospital in Hanoi, according to the Ministry of Health.
Twenty-four of the cases were registered at the Dong Anh District branch of the National Hospital for Tropical Diseases in Hanoi, 11 in Vinh Phuc Province, five in Thai Binh Province, 12 in Bac Ninh Province, four in other venues in the capital city, one in Hai Duong Province, two in Hung Yen Province, and one in Quang Ngai Province, the health ministry said in a report on Thursday.
