You may think you have seen the best of Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir, but you d be wrong. We hear that the Indian government plans to establish a new hill station at Zojila Pass.
Set to be planned between the serene 18-km stretch of Z-Morh tunnel in Jammu and Kashmir and Zojila tunnel in Ladakh, officials say that it will be more alluring than the famous Davos in Switzerland. As emphasised by Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, the new project will help develop employment opportunities in both the union territories and boost India’s economy.

Finally, after lengthy delays, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari has confirmed the entry of Tesla into the Indian market by early-2021, possibly Q1 2021. Tesla currently has four models in its portfolio: Model S, Model 3, Model X and Model Y. The first model to be launched here will be the entry-level Model 3 electric sedan. In terms of design, the Model 3 looks a lot like the Model S, but smaller. The focus here is on the overall clean silhouette with two 18-inch alloy wheel options. It also comes with an optional performance pack, so you can opt for bigger 20-inch wheels with Pirelli P Zero performance tyres, a carbon rear spoiler, and sporty pedals. The Road, Transport and Highways minister has been pushing for green fuel and electric vehicles for cutting India s huge Rs 8 lakh crore crude imports. Tesla Inc co-founder and chief executive Elon Musk had in October said the company will enter the Indian market in 2021.

American auto major Tesla will have its distribution facility (sale centres) for its cars in India from next year and considering the demand it would look into setting up of manufacturing here.
