The revised dates will be announced later on at least 15 days before the examination, according to the National Testing Agency. The engineering Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) (Main) scheduled later this month has been postponed due to the surge in COVID-19 cases across the country, Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said on Sunday.

Union Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal has announced on Sunday that engineering entrance exam JEE-Mains has been deferred.
The JEE-Mains (April session) 2021 that were slated to take place from April 27-30 have now been cancelled in view of the rapid increase in coronavirus cases across the country.
The revised dates are yet to be announced.
Taking to Twitter, Union minister Ramesh Pokhriyal posted Given the current Covid 19 situation, I have advised NTA to postpone the JEE Main 2021 April session. I would like to reiterate that the safety of our students & academic career is Education ministry and my prime concern right now. Please note: The dates of JEE (Main) – 2021 April session will be announced later on and at least 15 days before the examination.
