Perminder Singh Malik has been active in the social work space for long. After being part of the Young Indians initiative by the Confederation of Indian Industry for the last seven years and receiving the Community Service Award from the Delhi Minorities Commission, Perminder knew he wanted to set up a non-profit.
“The satisfaction that I got from these activities motivated me to register my efforts as a non-profit,” Perminder tells
SocialStory. “I wanted to make a larger impact by streamlining processes.”
Perminder founded Scope For Change in February last year with the intention to motivate people to be part of the change they wish to see in society.

Gurugram, March 2 : In a bizarre incident, a family from an upscale condominium at Vatika 21, sector-83 in Gurugram, were held hostage in their car by protesting residents of their housing society for feeding stray dogs.
The residents of the society alleged that the dogs had bitten children recently, said the police on Tuesday.
The neighbours allegedly surrounded the family s car when they returned home on Monday evening and did not allow them to come out of their vehicle. A resident of that residential society is a dog lover and frequently feeds stray dogs in their locality. The other residents of the society alleged that a few days back, one of the dogs bit a resident. Gurugram, Feb 28 : An upscale condominium in Gurugram s Sector-67 has been declared a containment zone after 20 cases of Covid-19 infection were detected there, a health official here said on Sunday.
The condominium was declared a Covid-prone zone on Thursday. It is reported that the residents in the condominium were infected after having attended a party at a restaurant earlier this February.
According to information, the party took place on February 7 where nearly seven people, mostly the elderly citizens, contracted the infection. Nearly 12 people had tested positive later on different days.
