The cabinet meeting which was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi accorded approval to the proposal on Wednesday, stated a release. Thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Industries and Commerce Minister Chandra Mohan Patowary said, Union Cabinet has approved grant-in-aid of Rs. 100 crore to BVFCL, Namrup for urgent repairs and maintenance of Unit II and Unit III. The Minister further hoped that the aid will enable BVFCL to sustain operations of its urea manufacturing units.
