The Yamuna Expressway Authority has approached the Noida police to take action against miscreants who are forging documents and floating fake tenders to dupe people. One such complainant reported the matter from Madhya Pradesh to the authority recently. Arun Vir Singh, chief executive officer of the authority, said that the work order has been forged and police are inquiring into the matter. “Fraudsters are resorting to novel tricks to dupe gullible individuals. We have earlier pasted public notice outside our office to inform everyone that YEIDA has no authority or rights to award tender to any entity for development of the airport.
