HENDERSON, Ky. The Green River District Health Department reported six new confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Henderson County Wednesday while Union and Webster counties each saw one new case.
Overall, the GRDHD reported 62 new confirmed cases in the seven-county district, including 43 in Daviess County, eight in Ohio County, two in Hancock County and one in McLean County.
The COVID-related death of a Daviess County resident was also reported.
The incidence rate, which measures the average daily cases per 100k population over the past seven days, dropped to 12.6 as of Tuesday afternoon in Henderson County and held it in the orange or accelerated level. Webster and Union counties remained in the accelerated or orange level at 15.5 and 16.9, respectively.

KENTUCKY (WFIE) - Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear gave Tuesday’s coronavirus update at 3 p.m.
Governor Beshear reports 1,497 new coronavirus cases and 16 more deaths.
The positivity rate sits at 6.30%.
Governor Beshear issues a new executive order regarding Kentucky schools. The executive order recommends all school districts, including private schools. to offer or expand some form of in-person instruction.
