MSU News Service BOZEMAN - A recent graduate of the Montana State University College of Nursing has been using her education to strengthen patient care and nursing protocols at a health clinic on Rocky Boy s Indian Reservation in north-central Montana.

Montana State University-Northern announced last week that the university will no longer require masks on campus. In a campuswide email, Northern Dean of Students Corey Kopp, also the convener of Northern’s COVID Leadership Team, said after Commissioner of Higher Education Clayton Christian issued an update sunsetting Montana University System’s COVID planning guidelines and Northern Chancellor Greg Kegel consulted with the university COVID Leadership and Executive teams, Kegel determined that Northern will no longer require mask use on campus, effective immediately. Havre Laundry and Dry Cleaning owner Ron Brenna holds Tuesday the certificate and St. Jude Thaddeus Church historic ornament presented to him by Havre/Hill County Historic Preservation Commission.
Havre/Hill County Preservation Commission presented an award to the longest-operating family business in the region, also the longest-operating laundry company in the state as one of its activities during National Historic Preservation Month. Historic Preservation Officer Becki Miller presented Havre Laundry and Dry Cleaning owner Ron Brenna and his son, Grayson, with a centennial business award and a sold-out St. Jude Thaddeus Church historical Christmas ornament Tuesday.

Montana State University-Northern is looking for volunteers to help refresh its N. Northern Alumni Foundation has invited the community to join it Wednesday, May 26, at 5 p.m. in front of Donaldson Hall to help plant flowers in the “N” on the hill.
