Solskjaer hails his comeback kings as Villa win delays neighbor s title party
BIRMINGHAM, England－Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer praised his team s resilience after it put Manchester City s Premier League title celebrations on hold by coming from behind to win 3-1 away to Aston Villa on Sunday.
Defeat for United in the first of a run of three games in five days would have seen City crowned champion.

LONDON: Manchester City’s Premier League title celebrations were put on hold again as Manchester United fought back to win 3-1 at Aston Villa on Sunday as West Bromwich Albion were relegated after losing to Arsenal by the same score.
Meanwhile, West Ham’s top-four bid suffered a major setback with a 1-0 defeat by Everton.
City missed a chance to seal the title when they lost 2-1 to Chelsea on Saturday.

Manchester United play Leicester at Old Trafford on Tuesday evening. The Reds are back in action just two days after their 3-1 triumph over Aston Villa on Sunday thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes, Mason Greenwood and Edinson Cavani, the latter continuing his electric form in front of goal with an expertly taken header.
It was announced yesterday that Cavani has signed a contract extension at the club. “From the very first moment that I arrived, I felt the confidence of the manager. As a player, this belief gives you the perfect opportunity to play your best football, Cavani said.
