The agreement cements the collaboration between the services and sets out clear roles to enable more efficiency at the scene as well as managing the road network, meaning less disruption for drivers.

Paramedics were called to Chatsworth Place, off Sandon Road, in Meir, at around 8.20am following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Medics alerted to incident in Standhills Road, Kingswinford

Paramedics and the Midlands Air Ambulance were seen at the scene just after 6.30pm. The emergency services have not confirmed exactly what happened but a spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service told the News: “We were called at 6:32pm to an incident in Standhills Road, Kingswinford. We sent one ambulance, a paramedic officer, the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford and the Midlands Air Ambulance Critical Care Car to the scene. On arrival, crews found a man with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. He was treated on scene before being conveyed to hospital on blue lights and sirens.” West Midlands Police said they had been notified at around 6.30pm amid concerns for the safety of a man inside a property and a spokesman added: He was treated by ambulance colleagues and taken to hospital where he will receive a further assessment.
