Motorbike rider seriously hurt in Dudley hit-and-run

A MOTORBIKE rider was seriously injured in a hit-and-run crash in Dudley. He was hit by the car at the junction of Wolverhampton Street and Southalls Lane at about 7.30pm last night Sunday (May 9). The rider was taken to the QE hospital with a serious, but non life-threatening injury. A spokesman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: We were called to reports of a collision between a car and a motorbike at the junction of Wolverhampton Street and Southalls Lane at 7.32pm. One ambulance attended the scene. On arrival we discovered one patient, a man, who was the motorcyclist. He was treated for a serious, but non life-threatening injury, before being taken to Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham for further treatment.
