A young woman has died after suffering a cardiac arrest which is currently being treated by police as unexplained .
Emergency services were called to an address on Thomas Lane Street, Coventry just after 8pm on Thursday, April 15.
Upon arrival they found a 26-year-old woman in cardiac arrest.
Sadly, despite the best efforts of the crews, nothing could be done to save her and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The death is initially being treated as unexplained.
It is not however thought to be suspicious and the matter is now being investigated by the coroner.

A man has tragically died following a house fire in Smethwick. Emergency services were called to Park Road at 8.48pm last night (Monday, April 19). Due to the nature of the call, the Hazardous Area Response Team was dispatched, along with one ambulance and a paramedic officer.

Emergency services have been called to a fire at a derelict pub in Coventry this afternoon.
Six fire engines are at the scene of the Grapes, a derelict pub in Fynford Road, Radford.
Firefighters were called to the incident this afternoon. It s not yet known what caused the blaze. A spokesman for West Midlands Fire and Rescue Service said that the fire was on the first and ground floor of the building.
The fire appears to be out and crews are expected to search the premises shortly.

Two men were injured in the fire on Halesowen Road at about 2.20am on Sunday.
One of the men was found in a critical condition and taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, while the other was treated for injuries not believed to be serious and taken to Russells Hall Hospital, West Midlands Ambulance Service said.
A man in his 40s who was taken to hospital with burns later died, police confirmed.
