Mayfield, KY. (May 24, 2021) – Troopers with Kentucky State Police, Post 1 arrested a man on outstanding warrants and other charges Monday morning. At approximately 9:05 a.m., a Trooper observed Andrew K. Saxton, 34 of Mayfield, Kentucky walking South on N 17th Street in Mayfield. The Trooper recognized Saxton and had prior knowledge he had outstanding arrest warrants. The Trooper made contact with Saxton and attempted to place him in custody. After an altercation, Saxton was arrested. During a search of Saxton’s person and a backpack he was carrying, Troopers located a revolver handgun, suspected methamphetamine, and other drug paraphernalia. Saxton was transported to the McCracken County Regional Jail.

A man called police at 12:18 a.m. on March 10 and said he could see two people attempting to break into vehicles at the U-Haul located at 2170 Irvin Cobb Drive in Paducah. Officers arrived at the scene and saw two people flee on foot. The officers found three full, five-gallon gasoline cans and a syphon hose next to a vehicle on the parking lot.

(KFVS) - Tyler Ogden and Bobbie Bishop were arrested on drug charges in Carlisle County on Tuesday, March 2. According to the Carlisle County Sheriff’s office, Ogden, a person-of-interest in a Carlisle County drug investigation, was pulled over by Deputy Ben Green and K-9 Officer Kimber. Bishop, of Union City, was a passenger in the car. Officer Kimber alerted Deputy Green, signaling that there were narcotics in the car. After a search of the car, deputies found a used methamphetamine pipe, a small baggy of methamphetamine, and digital scales with visible methamphetamine residue on them.
