NHS in North East and Cumbria plea with public ahead of bank holiday

The plea comes ahead of this weekend’s Bank Holiday Monday, with several leaders from around the North East asking everyone to behave in a sensible way when meeting with family and friends. This includes while out drinking, with a reminder having been given that if you drink too much alcohol, you could put both yourself and also the NHS at risk of problems.
