James was asked about the recent agreement between the NBA and players association (NBPA) in his postgame Zoom conference after brilliantly leading the Lakers to a 114-93 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Lib Media Group Launches Woke Journalism Initiative for 17 Schools

Font Size Liberal NBCUniversal News Group has decided to give back by launching an initiative it said would address systemic racism and inequality by you guessed it singling out individuals based on race and other identity groups. Leftist cable communications company Comcast put out a press release Jan. 14, 2021 discussing which “underrepresented groups” are the priority for NBCU News Group’s new “multiplatform journalism training and development program.” In the press release, Comcast announced that the new initiative, called NBCU Academy, would be part of the “multi-year $100 million commitment to help address systemic racism and inequality” that was announced back in June 2020. Another part of the leftist outfits plan included announcing its Fifty Percent Challenge Initiative, announced in July 2020. The initiative challenged NBCU to become 50 percent people of color and 50 percent women.

House Democrats reintroduce green energy tax package Rachel Frazin © Istock solar panels at sunset Democrats on the House Ways and Means Committee on Friday put forward a sweeping green energy bill that would extend several clean energy tax credits, expand electric vehicle tax credits and set the stage for putting a price on greenhouse gas emissions. The bill, called the GREEN Act, was first introduced last year but is being put forward again with Democrats now controlling both chambers of Congress and the White House. The legislation would extend the use of tax credits for solar, wind and geothermal energy while also extending the use of a tax credit for using technology that captures carbon dioxide in the production of fossil fuels.

Black culture often confused with southern culture

The Fayetteville Observer There is a cultural divide between Black and white Americans, but in the south, that divide is more blurred.  Culture, in terms of sociology, as defined by sociology associate professor Stacye Blount at Fayetteville State University,  is the total way of life for people.  Each group of persons has its own unique characteristics  . that makes its culture different from other groups, said Blount.  During slavery, a lot of what the slaves did and created became Southern culture, from food to religion.  Francena Turner, FSU history professor said:  There are ways that what we managed to make into meals has crossed and a lot of what s considered Southern culture in general is actually Black culture.
