Calls to end COVID-19 lockdowns continued as about 90 people staged another ‘Freedom Rally’ at the North Bay Waterfront Saturday.
The latest in North Bay’s bi-weekly protests included speeches on freedom of speech and the Charter of Rights and Freedoms, the creation of a ‘permanent medical police state,’ as well as the psychological impacts, suicides, overdoses and delayed care at hospitals caused by lockdowns.

Forty per cent of all adult residents in the North Bay Parry Sound District Health Unit have now received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine as of Friday.
The latest figures from the health unit show the health unit administered 1,874 more doses of COVID-19 vaccine over the previous day, bringing its total to date up to 43,470.
