PM Modi used the Hindi word andolan-jivi to describe a group of people who tend to hijack every protest or movement that has taken place in the country in the recent past. We are well aware of some terms like shram-jivi and buddhi-jivi . But, I am seeing that from some time a new entity has come up in this country- andolan-jivi . This community can be spotted wherever there is a protest, be it agitation by lawyers, students, or labourers, sometimes at the forefront and sometimes from behind. These parasites feast on every agitation, he said.Â

Ramayan s actor Sunil Lahiri slams Rihanna over farmers protest tweet
Actor Sunil Lahiri who is known for his role as Laxman in the epic drama Ramayan took to his Twitter account and expressed his displeasure over pop sensation Rihanna s tweet on farmers protest. He wrote that Rihanna or any foreign person does not have the right to interfere in the internal affairs of our country. The farmers movement is a personal issue of our country. People of India are able to solve their problems on their own.
Earlier, Rihanna had come in support of the ongoing farmers protest in the country. Rihanna had shared a news article about the farmer s protest on Twitter and asked, why aren t we talking about this?! #FarmersProtest. Â

Internet has been suspended in view of the

The Ministry of Home Affairs has ordered the suspension of internet services at Singhu, Ghazipur and Tikri borders of Delhi, where farmers have been protesting against the new farm laws, for 24 hours till Saturday night in the wake of their
chakka jam call, officials said.
Apart from the three sites, internet services will remain suspended in adjoining areas too till 23:59 hours on February 6.
The decision has been taken to maintain public safety and averting public emergency under Temporary Suspension of Telecom Services (Public Emergency or Public Safety) Rules 2017, a home ministry official said.
