ISLAMABAD, March 10 (Xinhua) Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan emphasized that enhanced trade and regional connectivity are the cornerstones of economic growth and development during talks with visiting Foreign Minister of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov on Wednesday.
Khan highlighted during the meeting that Pakistan offers all Central Asian countries very short routes to international seas through Karachi and Gwadar ports, according to a statement from the Prime Minister Office.
Pakistan highly values its close, fraternal ties with Uzbekistan and wishes to deepen bilateral cooperation in all areas, the prime minister said, reaffirming Pakistan s resolve to facilitate Uzbekistan s access to Pakistani ports.
