The Main Line produced a fine number of outstanding swimmers this past winter. At Conestoga, senior Jake Wang, who was named the Boys Swimmer of the Meet at the PIAA 3A Swimming and Diving Championships for the second year in a row, led the Pioneer boys team to a best-ever second-place finish. Lower Merion, led by senior Alexa Conner, who finished second in two individual events at States, finished ninth in the PIAA 3A girls team competition
The senior swimmer had an outstanding showing at the PIAA 3A Swimming & Diving Championships, finishing second in both the girls 200 yard IM (1:59.95) and 100 backstroke (54.06), and was part of the Aces’ medal-winning 200 medley relay and 400 freestyle relay teams.
