Bandai Namco staff describe California office relocation as essentially like a layoff ); }
Bandai Namco Entertainment America is shutting down its office in Santa Clara and relocating workers to a new office in Southern California.
As reported by VentureBeat, the company said the switch is designed to improve collaboration between its digital and physical goods departments, but has only given employees until the end of May to decide whether to relocate. Bandai Namco Entertainment America will be moving its Santa Clara, California-based offices to Southern California, said the Japanese publisher in a statement. This decision has been made to enable different group companies within the Bandai Namco group to integrate and open new opportunities for cross-collaboration across its entire portfolio in both the digital and physical goods sectors.

LOS ANGELES/SEOUL (April 21, 2021) – Ocean Drive Studio announced its first title, Lost Eidolons, will come first to PC via Steam Early Access and launched a Kickstarter campaign to support the game. Lost Eidolons is a classic, turn-based tactical RPG and the Kickstarter is an important part of the team’s “open development,” process. Ocean Drive explains in a new video how backers will be welcomed to the game’s community for playtests, to share feedback and help Ocean Drive strive to make the next great title in the genre.
The game will put a lot of emphasis on the primary role of the Sherman tank, i.e. infantry support. Therefore, the player will often assist and cooperate with various infantry units to achieve tactical advantage in battle. Game mechanics will put emphasis on the most crucial aspects of fire and maneuver tactics, such as reconnaissance, suppression fire, soft and hard cover, morale, flanking, and more.
Sherman Commander will also feature tank duels against more heavily armored and harder-hitting enemy vehicles. Being the underdog in those match-ups will require a thoughtful approach, as each mistake may and will have dire consequences.
