Unauthorised offices of realtors built on YEIDA plots were razed by the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) in Noida. The sales offices were operated by illegal real estate agents who were selling plots and flats to homebuyers. The land parcels were originally allotted to two builders whose allocations were cancelled due to their failure to initiate construction. The Authority took action after receiving complaints about property dealers accepting cash under the pretense of booking flats and plots.
