'This global uncertainty has a cascading effect with a funding winter setting in, resulting in cost-cutting in small and large businesses alike, with hiring being affected at all levels, including the campus level,' an official letter from BITS Pilani read.

“Till 2016-2017, the institute used to raise an average of Rs 1 crore per year. Now, it has gone up to Rs 32 crore in 2022-23.
