So, what do I win if I get all of these right? 11. And here is another thing, it’s difficult to find Florida players who will be on the preseason All-SEC team. Again, you don’t get a plague or a paver or even a certificate for making those teams, but my guess is that Kaiir Elam will be the only Florida player on the first team. I will say this – a lot of it is lazy voting based on who each team brings to the event. Florida is on a streak of four straight years with two players on the firs...

The Back Nine comes at you after a weekend that had a little bit of everything. 10. Do the two basketball losses down the stretch mean that we could have an antsy Selection Sunday? Not really. Florida is still a seven seed in Jerry Palm’s bracket and a nine in Joe Lunardi’s. UF is 29th ...

The Back Nine comes at you while gearing up for a busy weekend that includes a little bit of everything including the most overwhelming game in any sport – Puppy Bowl XVII. 10. Now that both Signing Days are over and the second one that used to be a national holiday is now relegated to meh status, everyone can look at the rosters of their teams and forget about how they were ranked. That Nick Saban brought in the best class ever is simply opinion and conjecture, but the one thing that strikes...

The Back Nine comes at you after a weekend of watching balls bouncing all over the place … and that was just during my golf round. Thanks to the Haile’s Angels for inviting me out. 10. When LSU tight end Arik Gilbert announced he was entering the transfer portal, many of us thought Florida would be the perfect fit after the season Kyle Pitts had. But we were dissuaded from that belief because Gilbert was homesick and he is from Marietta, Ga. Of course, Dan Mullen is the king of the portal a...
