The Xeric Garden Club of Albuquerque will hosting Laurel Ladwig as she speaks on the topic "Share Space with Wildlife with a Backyard Refuge."

9-10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 15. Registration closes May 14. In this workshop, participants will use the ABQ Backyard Refuge Program (ABQBRP) workbook and learn a myriad of ways the Bachechi Open Space might better support local plants and wildlife. Meet with the ABQBRP team who will feature Bachechi Open Space as an example to demonstrate the first steps in creating a certified habitat and in turn, to be able to create and certify your own garden as a backyard refuge.
