A drug investigation launched in early March led to the seizure of fentanyl, cash and the arrest of a man and a woman. OPP say the man was wanted on an outstanding warrant.

Bancroft OPP on Wednesday afternoon responded to a domestic incident during which they discovered a quantity of drugs and $27,000 in cash. One man was arrested at the home.

Bancroft OPP stopped a snowmobile travelling on Ontario Federation of Snowmobile Clubs trail and say he was found in possession of firearms and drugs.

Bancroft OPP say on Tuesday evening officers responded to a residence following a report a woman had assaulted two paramedics at the scene.

Bancroft OPP say one person died after two vehicles collided Monday afternoon along Highway 118 southwest of Bancroft. One driver was pronounced dead at the scene.

In one incident, Bancroft OPP were requested to assist a conservation officer regarding a suspected impaired driver on Whytes Road.

According to Bancroft OPP, around 9 p.m., officers responded to a two-vehicle collision on Highway 62 at Buck Hill Road, about 10 kilometres north of the village.
