January and February 2022 were rainiest, more so for Bihar and Jharkhand. However, chances are bleak of having any measurable rainfall over the states of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Jharkhand during the month of February.
A western disturbance has arrived over western parts of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. The system will move across Western Himalayas over the next 3 days affecting Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh and Himachal Pradesh. Light to moderate rain and snow will be experienced over Jammu & Kashmir today and tomorrow and over Himachal Pradesh on 01st November.
By tomorrow, rains will be seen along the foothills as well right from Champaran, Sitamarhi, Madhepura, Supaul, Madhubani, Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur, Gopalganj. These regions may see heavy rains.
Scattered light to moderate rain with a few heavier spells is possible over both states until October 9 0r 10. This may be the longest rain spell over Bihar and Jharkhand since the beginning of the Southwest Monsoon.
