After New Mexico prosecutors dropped charges against Alec Baldwin for fatally shooting cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the western film set “Rust”, Hutchins’ family announced that they plan to continue pressing ahead with their civil suit against the actor.

Sandoval County was fined nearly $12,000 six months after Renee Arriola's death.

Cinematographer Halyna Hutchins died in the incident, while director Joel Souza was wounded.

According to Rust Movie Productions, it "did not 'willfully' violate any safety protocol, and in fact enforced all applicable safety protocols."

With 6 days left to pay the fine or appeal, Genoway said they have not heard at all from the production company.

In a letter penned by Gutierrez Reeds attorneys, the legal eagles asked DA Mary Carmack-Altwies to reprimand the cop for implying Reed was responsible for Halyna Hutchins death.
