International House of Prayer Kansas City has announced the resignation of IHOP University President David Sliker as the ministry continues losing leaders weeks after permanently cutting ties with founder Mike Bickle, who remains under investigation for "serious allegations including sexual immorality."

This week, IHOP University President David Sliker resigned after more than two decades with the ministry.

David Sliker is leaving his position as president of IHOP University “after seven years of faithful service,” the global prayer movement announced Wednesday night.

“It was just morally reprehensible to me,” said former IHOPKC Associate Director Allen Hood. “I voted for the removal of Brad (Tebbutt) from staff. I protested their keeping of him on staff at every turn …”

The Virginia-based organization GRACE, founded by attorney Boz Tchividjian, has shot down claims made by leaders of the International House of Prayer Kansas City that they made multiple attempts to contact the organization about investigating sexual abuse allegations against their founder Mike Bickle.

“I would consider this one of the greatest betrayals of my trust in the leadership of IHOPKC. What it said to me as someone who grew up there from age 4 to 22 is that IHOPKC is not a community that is safe for children.”

“Third parties that claim to represent alleged victims have communicated a lack of trust in the national law firm IHOPKC engaged to lead the inquiry,” the ministry’s leaders said.

Mike Bickle, a founding father of anti-porn org Exodus Cry, has stepped away from his ministry after sexual misconduct allegations.

“It takes time to do this responsibly, as there are laws and procedures that we have to honor in terms of how we move forward in this process in order to do it right,” said Stuart Greaves, IHOPKC’s executive director.
