The Kansas City–based prayer ministry extended an apology and called for repentance after another victim came forward.

International House of Prayer-Kansas City founder Mike Bickle’s behavior was “an abuse of power for a person in a position of trust and leadership,” an investigation has found.

“I just remember when she first told me, I felt like everything in my body was seizing up. All I could do was just wail. All I could do was just weep. Probably for two months, I begged God it wouldn’t be true.”

“But there are a lot of things that we can improve on. And I’ve heard enough and seen enough to know that there are some issues here that need to be addressed, and some of them urgently.”

International House of Prayer Kansas City has announced the resignation of IHOP University President David Sliker as the ministry continues losing leaders weeks after permanently cutting ties with founder Mike Bickle, who remains under investigation for "serious allegations including sexual immorality."

This week, IHOP University President David Sliker resigned after more than two decades with the ministry.

David Sliker is leaving his position as president of IHOP University “after seven years of faithful service,” the global prayer movement announced Wednesday night.

“It was just morally reprehensible to me,” said former IHOPKC Associate Director Allen Hood. “I voted for the removal of Brad (Tebbutt) from staff. I protested their keeping of him on staff at every turn …”
