New Delhi, Mar 25 (PTI) The Congress on Monday attacked former Calcutta High Court judge Abhijit Gangopadhyay over his reported remark that he cannot choose between Gandhi and Godse and demanded that his candidature for the Lok Sabha polls from the BJP be withdrawn.
The top court stayed the orders passed by the single-judge bench and the division bench in the matter which led to a public conflict between two judges of the Calcutta High Court. It allowed the filing separately of a special leave petition against the orders of Justice Gangopadhyay during the course of the day., India News, Times Now
Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay of the Calcutta High Court Thursday directed that a CBI investigation into alleged irregularities in MBBS admission in medical college hospitals in Bengal will continue despite an order of a division bench to the contrary.
