Two people face drug trafficking and transportation charges after deputies recovered more than 5 pounds of methamphetamine and around a half pound of heroin during a traffic stop early Wednesday morning, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.

A 26-year-old Carson City woman was arrested in the 200 block of West Winnie Lane Saturday evening for suspicion of DUI second offense, a gross misdemeanor, felony violation of pretrial release, failure to stop at a stop sign, and failure to practice due care, a sheriffs deputy said.

Two Carson City residents were arrested in the 1100 block of Fremont Street for alleged cultivation of marijuana, possession of a controlled substance for sale, trafficking marijuana, and cultivation of concentrated marijuana, all felony charges.

A 22-year-old woman was booked into jail Thursday for a felony warrant alleging DUI causing substantial bodily harm, a Carson City sheriff’s deputy said.
