The deal calls for Posey to be sentenced to a year on probation, including three months on electronic home detention.

Posey's two previous trials — conducted in June and September — ended with mistrials when the juries were unable to reach unanimous verdicts.

Jurors in the U.S. District Court trial began deliberating Wednesday, then returned for more work on Thursday before announcing they were deadlocked.
