PFRDAs new circular allows NPS subscribers to evaluate and choose fund managers based on past performance and long-term potential

The pension fund regulator has issued a circular announcing that an NPS investor can now choose different pension fund managers for different asset classes. NPS allows an individual to invest in equities, corporate bonds, government securities and alternate asset classes. Previously, an NPS subscriber was allowed to choose only one pension fund manager.
