Cory Bigsby originally faced 7 charges of child neglect that were unrelated to the disappearance of his son Codi, which captured both local and national attention.

The Cory Bigsby jury trial was originally set for Monday, however, we have learned that it has been postponed with no new trial date set. It's unclear at this time why it has been postponed.

A local search team was out Sunday, hoping to find leads on some high-profile missing person cases on the peninsula.

A judge has denied a motion to throw out certain evidence in the child neglect trial against Cory Bigsby, the father of missing 4-year-old boy Codi Bigsby.

Cory Bigsby, the Hampton father of missing 4-year-old Codi, faced a judge Thursday afternoon. Bigsby is facing several felony charges of child neglect, all unrelated to his son’s disappearance.

After 4-year-old Codi Bigsby was reported missing, his father was questioned at Hampton Police headquarters for more than three days. A hearing was scheduled for Tuesday to determine whether statements he made to police could be used in court, but it was rescheduled because of procedural hiccups.

Cory Bigsby is scheduled to be in Hampton court Tuesday afternoon. Bigsby, of Hampton, faces multiple child neglect and endangerment charges.

The case of a missing 4-year-old Hampton boy will be featured on a national cable TV show, "In Pursuit with John Walsh," on Wednesday night.

A show on Investigation Discovery will feature a segment on the search for Codi Bigsby, the 4-year-old boy from Hampton reported missing in late January.
