The United States Coast Guard is no longer searching for a 20-year-old man who jumped overboard on a Royal Caribbean cruise after a fight with his family, the military branch reportedly said.

"It’s a lot of detective work," Coast Guard Chief Brian Gainey said, "but it’s all in service to finding these two individuals and bringing them home to their families."

Yanni Nikopoulos and Dale Jones' sailboat was hit by a storm while the American couple was travelling in the Atlantic towards the Azores.

The search is on for a Virginia couple who have gone missing in the Atlantic Ocean after they set sail for the Azores Islands earlier this month.
