Third St. Cooley said the information will be put online so people can review it and download the forms from the city website or go to River Valley Transit headquarters to pick up a form to begin the process.

Committee weighs moving, staying options for City Hall | News, Sports, Jobs

mmaroney@sungazette.com City Council’s Ad Hoc City Hall Committee met Tuesday and honed in on two final options to remain at the current City Hall or to renovate office space the city owns at Trade and Transit Centre I or II. “I think we are making progress to the point of completion for the committee,” said Councilman Adam Yoder, its chairman. UPMC to provide own police force | News, Sports, Jobs - Williamsport Sun-Gazette

mmaroney@sungazette.com UPMC Susquehanna will soon have its own armed police force at Williamsport and Divine Providence hospitals, a hospital executive said. Steven P. Johnson, president of UPMC in the Susquehanna Region, told City Council Thursday about the idea under development at the hospital. He said he wanted to see it happen in the next 90 days and will work with the city administration and council on the project. The hospital police officers would be empowered to make arrests on the hospital campuses but not outside of that jurisdiction, he said. Hospital executives worked out some details with police this week.
