The hit MMORPG launches its new season with Star Trek Online: Unparalleled

Embracer Group, parent company of THQ and Deep Silver, is spreading the holiday cheer by going on a spending spree, acquiring Perfect World Entertainment (known for Neverwinter and Star Trek Online), Shiver Entertainment (former EA Tiburon devs) and animation studio DIGIC.

The Embracer Group has renamed Gearbox Publishing San Francisco as Arc Games. The first game from the group under their new name will be Gigantic: Rampage Edition which launches tomorrow, April 9.
