He was a rising star from a tough neighborhood who by 18 was considered by many as the number one player on the Number One High School Football Team in the country. But just two days before Terrance Kelly was supposed to leave for the university of oregon on a full scholarship he was shot and killed while waiting to pick up his younger brother in richmond. Kellys story is now being told on the big screen. When the game stands tall opened last month, it tells the story of teles death and the shock waves it send through concords de lasalles high school.
